Prof. Dr. El-Gammal is the Who’s Who, International Encyclopedia, Science and Engineering, 2006/2007, - 21st Scientists of the World, IBC-International Biographical Cambridge Research Centre–2007. He is the Ex- Head of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Alexandria University and the Ex Head of 8th Committee of Professorships and Associates- Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities. He is offering consultancy work in fields of corrosion protection systems designs. He is also, a consultant for well reputation companies in Egypt, irrigation projects, water siphons, and marine structures as well as off shore platforms & deep sea pipelines.

Dr Mabruk has 29 years experience both in upstream and downstream processes. He has produced more than 100 corrosion investigation reports and published several papers on stainless steel corrosion. He obtained both his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Manchester Corrosion Engineering Research Centre. He is a professional member of the institute of corrosion ( UK), and one of the founders of corrosion society in Libya. He has given various training courses in the fundamentals of corrosion, corrosion monitoring, and corrosion control, and has supervised several research papers. He is also very active in the field of asset integrity management, and presented several papers in this subject.

Have worked in Afghanistan as a Consultant to Asian Development Bank for the rehabilitation programme of Oil & Gas Sector in Afghanistan.
A panel member for preparing BIS(IS-8062) standards for Cathodic Protection.
An Active member of NACE International and recipient of Corrosion Awareness Award bestowed by NACE International (Indian Section).

Sherif is graduated from Cairo University in Mechanical engineering BSC. 1976 He joined Arab Petroleum Pipelines SUMED as a project engineer for commissioning and start up of this 2.4 mbpd crude oil pipeline 640 Km long 42 inch diameter June 2008 being the technical General Manager of Sumed Sherif was appointed as the Vice chairman & CEO of Ruhrpumpen Egypt a new Joint Venture between EGPC Egyptian general petroleum corporation and Ruhrpumpen gmbh Germany to design, fabricate and test API pumps for the oil industry
